VETIVER . 26 . PARACOSM ENTHUSIAST

I'm Vetiver! I've been worldbuilding since I was about 5 or 6 (My first project was called "Animal Land", and as silly as it sounds, it really kickedstarted my love for a few things that are important to me- a world where almost-humans and animalfolk try to coexist, partially biological magical abilities, anomalous/paracausal activity & absurd/surreal horror, political theory, & a deep adoration and self-identification with dragons and werewolves.)

I create my own artwork for my worlds and work as a freelance digital artist specializing in fantasy, anthropomorphism, and bright colors. I don't have a lot of time to draw as I have multiple jobs as a fursuit maker & counselor, but I'm doing my best to at least put forth a 2026 update and remove outdated info from this site. I'm a huge fan of lesbianism, t4t, and polyamory, and my goal in a lot of sociocultural worldbuilding is to challenge or provide possible alternatives to the nuclear family & individualized childraising, exploring the pros and cons and social implications of such.

I love monsters, loud experimental music, dark chocolate, kink & sex psychology, bubble tea, and seafood. Movies you may see me draw inspiration from include Watership Down, Nope, The Thing, Shin Godzilla, I Saw the TV Glow, The Color out of Space, and Everything Everywhere all at Once. I have a huge soft spot for "internet horror" whether that's analog horror, ARGs, or VHS style found footage, my favorites of these being Obelisk, Gemini Home Entertainment, and Vita Carnis.

My favorite game and perhaps favorite piece of horror media of all time is Bloodborne, followed by Minecraft, and Spyro the Dragon (All the games, but my favorites are the Legend of Spyro trilogy! The only Spyro games I don't like are the Skylanders games, which I hold an unreasonably strong contempt for). The planet Aether, colloquially known as the dragon realms, is indeed the planet where the events of Spyro the Dragon took place, making OC and canon interactions possible.

I'm also really into fantasy horror, cosmic/eldritch horror, liminal horror, kaiju movies, the SCP foundation, and the concept of the Backrooms as endless various liminal spaces. I spend a lot of time painting liminal spaces, you can find this series on my Furaffinity, linked below.

You may reference or take ideas from my work as much as you like. Hell, you can trace it. I don't care. Art is inherently social, and copyright law has really only served to protect corporations rather than indidivual artists. You're not going to learn the best anatomy from me, but I'm not your mom. If you want to make a species near identical to xorryaddans, for example, go for it. Just be respectful and true to yourself in doing so. No idea is truly original, and I'd love to see what you come up with.

I most often represent myself as Warren the boarhog and Durian the lightning dragontaur:

I can be socially offputting at times, but I love to both ramble AND listen to other people ramble about their interests, even if it's something I've never heard of before. So especially if you're into worldbuilding or horror, feel free to tell me about your things :3
